On March 25th, all DCPS school cafeterias will serve traditional cuisine from the French-speaking world, in celebration of our third International Food Day in SY 2014-15, Francophonie Food Day.  The Government Office of Quebec, the Embassy of Haiti, and the Embassy of France have worked together to serve our students breakfast, lunch, and supper respectively.

• Turkey Ham & Egg Scramble, Whole Grain Toast w/ Jelly, Fresh Local Apple

A Haitian Lunch:

• Haitian Style Chicken OR Creole Dusted Fish OR Garden Salad w/ Romaine,
• Tomatoes and Cheese
• Dirty Brown Rice
• Stewed Kidney Beans
• Kale Salad
• Fresh Tropical Banana

A French Bistro Affair, Supper:

• Tomato, Mozzarella and Chicken Sandwich on a Whole Grain Roll
• Mixed Fruit Cup
• 1% milk
