Cinthia L. Ruiz is the Chief Integrity Officer at DCPS, where she leads the Attendance, Enrollment, and Integrity work for the district. She has a wealth of experience in education policy and operations, and has been instrumental in supporting DCPS staff, students, and families during the pandemic and beyond. She has developed and implemented systems and strategies to ensure accurate data and efficient operations for DCPS.

Prior to joining DCPS, Cinthia gained valuable experience in public policy, serving as an Academic Policy Team Consultant at the New York City Department of Education and later as a Program Lead at the Women of Color Policy Network in New York. She contributed to the development of policies and procedures related to academic programs and standards, and managed research projects and advocacy campaigns on issues affecting women of color in education, health, and economic security.

Cinthia holds a bachelor’s degree from Hampton University, a Graduate Certificate in Diversity Strategy from Georgetown University, and a Master of Public Administration from New York University. She is a proud Ward 7 resident in Washington, DC, and is passionate about improving the lives of students and families in her community.
