Sousa Middle School
Brittany Pascal is the Interim Principal of Sousa Middle School. Most recently, Mrs. Pascal served as the assistant principal of STEM at Sousa Middle School, where she led the STEM department in improvements in student achievement. In her time at Sousa, Mrs. Pascal also led in professionally developing teacher leaders and developing data-informed and multi-tiered student supports implementation.
Mrs. Pascal began her education career as a science teacher in Charlotte, NC, in 2008. In 2013, she relocated to the DMV area, where her education career continued with DC Public Schools. As an educator, Mrs. Pascal has served as a secondary math and science teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal, and curriculum developer.
Mrs. Pascal holds a bachelor’s degree from South Carolina State University. She also has a master’s degree in Secondary Mathematics and Special Education from Lesley University.
