Synopsis: The District of Columbia Pubic Schools (DCPS), Office of Contracts and Acquisitions (OCA), on behalf of the Division of Technology Initiatives in the Office of the Chief Operating Officer (OCOO) is seeking a Contractor to provide Maintenance of Internal Connections within the District of Columbia Public Schools. Equipment includes but is not limited to firewalls, routers, switches, wireless access points, software and telecommunication equipment. Prospective Contractor(s) shall participate in the Universal Service Support Mechanism for Schools and Libraries (known as the “E-rate” Program) as provided for and authorized under the federal Telecommunications Act of 1996 (Reference 47 U.S.C. § 254, “Universal Service”). To ensure compliance with all applicable E-Rate rules, requirements, regulations, and program mandates.
